The Holiday House Project involved designing and laser cutting a 3D house. Each group of two was given a 12” x 24” wooden sheet to work with. So each individual actually had a 12” x 12” square to fit their design into.

The house lines and hatch patterns were initially designed in AutoCAD. The file was then brought over to Adobe Illustrator where fine tweaking was done and line weights were edited. PNG files were also edited in Adobe Photoshop and then brought over and scaled in the Illustrator file. The design was then laser cut out of wood and assembled. Snow made from plaster and glitter was added for effect.
